MY FIRST TRANSPLANT GAMES!!!

I can't believe I made it here!

I came, to participate in the 2000 Transplant Olympic

Games for Team Ohio. I participated in the 1500 Racewalk.

I didn't finish first, but I completed a dream of mine!!

This is an experience that I will never forget!!

I made so many wonderful new Friends, from all all over the world. And heard so many Heartwarming Stories.

In 2yrs. I'll be back, to compete in more sporting activities! Wait to you see me then!

LOOK OUT GIRLS HERE I COME!!!!!!!

"Jo", competing in the Transplant Olympic       Games 2000!

"TEAM OHIO"

YOU GO GIRL!!!!!

GIVE IT ALL YOU'VE GOT!!!

"YES", I can go another lap! haha

This was easier then I thought! And a day I'll

never Forget!!

"WOW" I DID IT!

I came in 16th. There were 24 of us 50yr. olds who competed. So I didn't do so bad after all. I completed a task I didn't think would be possible, considering the rough road I had while on treatment for my Hep.C, 2months prior to the Games in June. I'm so proud of myself!

So very "Happy" to complete the Race!!!

And Thankful, to have been given the chance to

Partcipate!

The Gold!

This was a beautiful medal presented to me by my family, for "Recognition". They were all there to cheer me on & so happy to see me competing. I am a winner in more ways than one. Thank you God, for all my wonderful "Blessings"
